I was at this show. I was 14. Priest opened for Starz whobthen opened FOR REO. Priest absolutely destroyed the other 2 bands. And I love Starz. But back the. PRIEST was in a league all their own.

I was fortunate enough to hear both of these for the first time ever....live. Head full of acid. Greatest band ever.

The same day as happened this Festival I was travelling to England, to go to another Festival: READING ROCK FESTIVAL 1980 20th Anniversary then.

Saw them two months later at a festival in Nürnberg, Germany. Loved them since '77, still one if my favourite bands, latest album Invincible Shield is killer, Ritchie Faulkner's playing is steller.

I love "Beyond the Realms of Death". What a masterpiece!

Saw this tour in Landover, Maryland in 84. Still have the ticket stub and the shirt and still remember the show 40 years ago quite well. That is the same show as where the documentary heavy metal parking lot was also filmed and created at that same show!🤘🏻🍻

Normally I do not like audience recordings for the obvious reasons. But this is certainly a special recording that is worth listening to. The band lineup for these three days was incredible according to the signs. I have been to many of these shows earlier in my life, as I am now 64, and sometimes things got out of hand. People partying all day long and all night for several days can sometimes create short tempers and anger. People usually had very little tolerance for the bands that did not play well or simply had no business on the stage. An excellent glimpse into Judas Priest early days and I'm really happy that they survived the afternoon show.
